dont bother with the interior, two seats, roll cage, harnesses, manual trans swap or 4l69e with paddleshifters. much more fun, and dont like you know youve always wanted somehting like that.... every car guy has.

im not gonna bother with a roll cage, but i do love the look of a cage. 5 speed swap will probably be the only performance mod, outside of gutting the cats, smog, suspension, etc.

paddle shifter?.... meh.

To tell the truth, I've never been intrigued by paddle shifters. I much prefer it on the floor.

paddle shifters contain all the fail of an auto, with but with the controls in a more inconvenient spot.

lol. theyre heavy like an auto, they shift as slow as an auto, you cant control your clutch, you cant skip gears, and i could never figure out how you were supposed to select a gear with the wheel cocked.

the stupid bolt in ones arent that great ill be honest. we put them in a friends 78 camaro with a gm 6 speed automatic. but it was kinda cool and when people would see them theyre reaction would be like "WOAH MAN YOUVE GOT PADDLE SHIFTERS! THATS FLIPPEN HACKEN SWEET" and youll be like "yeah they are alright" they shifted about the same rate as b&M floor shifter.

i made the pedal box, if you go under newbie posts and find xjs manual built by 17 year old ( or something like that i dont remember. you can see it. i used the bell from the driven man but i would use the one from www.5speeds.com its about 250 cheaper and it fits a stock ford t5. get the flywheel from the driven man, billed steel or alum. gm 10.5in clutch plate ford 10.5in clutch disk. any kinda of hydraluic throwout bearing (forks wont fit there is nowhere for them to go) and a driveshaft. if you arent modding the engine a heavy T5 Transmissions that gearset will hold. get a used mustang w/c they can be found for liek 175$ and swap gears. of you like the 2.88 rear end use the 3.35 first gear its the same price (what i did and will combine with a 3.31 rear gear soon ) i made the trans out of box tubing and a mig welder, thats probably the hardest part of the whole swap, the pinion angle. driveshaft is easy, find a shop give them measurements. i used a cobra spec t5 with carbon fiber syncros and it was like 1200$ the mcleod because i can take the trans out with the bell still on, because i plan on drifting the car and g force gears eventually. you just cut a whole in the floor and the shifter comes up about 2inches back for most people. im 6'1'' so i dont mind it, i actually angles the handle backwards. any other questions just ask

I like the wheels. I think that they're Borbet A's which were sold in the 90's
