Does anyone else's car have two separate fuel pump looms, including the rubber terminal covers, in the boot- one unused?

The one in use looks to be white/brown & black wire.
The unused one is blue-red & black. This one is tied into the loom for the tank level sender.

Both look to be factory wired which is a bit wierd! was this a recall back in period or something?

 

More likely Jaguar had a bit of loom left over from a twin-tanked saloon and used it as the normal looms had run out of stock!
