1989 xjs v12 spiting gas out cap WTF
do it a little after adding gas 3/4 tank not full it spit out gas . anyone know whats going on? after a short drive.

Probably venting out the cap because the evap system is clogged. Lucky it blew your cap because that tends to find the weak spots in the tank when it is aged. I drilled a hole in my cap because I don't really have time for dealing with the evap system for now.
