Hello,
I am not having any success locating the drain plug in the engine block. I have found descriptions for the location of it, but I am still confused. My repair manual doesn't even mention removal of this drain plug. Is there an actual illustration or image of this plug?

12 or 6? Specifying engine in your signature would be helpful.

There is no block drain plug on the V12, AFAIK.

There used to be a tap om the radiator which would open itself every so often which ismwhy it was thrown overboard

 

Thanks for the replies. I thought I would just try to be thorough for once on a coolant flush. I could have been done with this job last weekend if that is the case.
