Hi, I have looked other places on this forum but I cannot find any information on this. I have what looks to be a sensor of some kind attached to the lower bumper of my 1994 Jaguar XJS 2+2. I have had another XJS the same year and id did not have this. I am wondering if someone knows or if someone thinks it may be some kind of radar detector or some kind of parking sensor. I cannot follow the wire without taking off the bumper and I have no kind of gauges in the car that are not supposed to be there so I am baffled. I have included pictures. There is factory prewire for fog lights in that area, that could be it.

 

I would expect the outside temperature sensor for the AC

 

That is the fog light plug and there should be one on the other side also. It's probably a rubber cover on the end to protect from the elements. I have the same clip and plug for my fog lights.
