My power mirrors stopped working. Mechanic tested and determined the power seat/mirror module was defective. He said that he could get mirrors to move with direct 12v power.

i sent module out to be repaired. It was installed but still don’t work. Repair shop that repaired
module said there could be a latent fault in
the module which can be difficult to repair. The shop offered me a refund but I need mirrors to work. Am I missing anything between module and mirror? Power seats still work. They always worked even when mirrors didn’t. The electrical diagram is pretty intense.

 

Hello. I had the same error. When I turned on the mirrors joystick, I heard a click in the control unit. I opened the control unit and touched every element on the board at the same time with the joystick and at some point the mirror began to move. I resoldered all the points on the board where I touched and it worked.
