Powerfold/approachlight/AHB mirrors retrofit
Hi everyone!
Today I like to describe my Jaguar XF power fold/approach lights/autodim/Jaguar Intelligent Light (Auto Headlight Beam Assistant) mod
It was one of first mods which was made on my Jaguar Xf was mirrors mode. It’s about 1.5 years which its was begin and the last component was programmed this February. The total history of reason of purchasing of Luxury Jaguar XF without some options ‘ll post lately, today I want describe installation process for mirrors option.
From factory the car came with manual fold exterior mirrors with interior manual dim mirror.
I begin learning the wiring and found that from factory the mirror factory the doors wiring is the same for different types of exterior mirrors, but roof wiring is different, so firstly I have ordered connector housing YPC905670 and soldering wiring according mirrors wiring diagrams and connect wiring to C49, located beneath parcel shelf trim, RH side
Firstly auto dim interior mirror was taken from Range Rover L322 2008MY, but lately was four the Interior AHB mirror from Jaguar XJ X351 2011MY.
the exterior mirrors were ordered from Jaguar, the order was:
- door mirrors with memory, powerfold, electrochromatic: C2Z17765
and C2Z17763
- door mirror motor C2C37100, 2pcs.
- door mirror glass with BSM function and w/o warnings C2Z5466 and C2Z1080
- approach lamp cover C2C37090 and C2C37089
- puddle lamp: C2P8523, 2pcs.
After the exterior mirrors were installed, was mdd changes of CCF file and activated power fold function and approach lights option
Additional was reprogrammed HCM module (Headlights Module), programmed the HCMB Module (AHB module installed in AHB mirror) with some changes in CCF file for activating AHB menu in Setup Menu on Touch Screen.
Now the auto light and auto dim mirrors works perfect
Still in progress BSM function

Tnx, I will certainly have questions. The first question however will be to find the time to buy the rear mirrors L/R and the inside mirror (I would like to get them second hand).
Once I have found the stuff, then I should have no problem finding time to fit them. That is when you can expect questions!
Meantime, I will install a front facing loop camera on top of the current inside mirror and power it from the roof console.
I also had a look at your DVD project, but since I have the newer version, I (luckely) am saved from this mod.
The hardest thing to bear from the Jaguar is the extremely poor software. (I also own a Chrysler which is 6 years older that the Jag, but has soooooo much more to offer - especially software wise.)
So if anyone has any ideas to get the Jaguar software updated: I'd be over the moon to hear about it.

Kind regards.
