TONS OF INTERNET SUPPORT ?? At where please? 3 hours seeking any words or images as to 1995 xjs v12 rear engine coolant leak = fruitless. When Jesus came 2 a tree like this HE whithered it in its own roots, just sayin. Tried 5 different queries regarding 95 v12 coolant leak yet nada, zilch, zero, nyet, nogo, not f-ing happening,, , with a overhot Jag/Kat/-being common 1 would think there would be a complete with pics n vids thread in th 'jag forums' . Now i admit ive only been on this site about 16 hours total, n not all of that regarding th leaky cat i own markin itz spot BUT NO HELP on trunk lock either my other issue. 10 hours perusing jag forums for that one n yeah no help there either.

Please excuse my tone my consternation, my aggrevation.

Thank you 2 anyone that can direct me to th proper use of this site as I Must be missing something, like a List of Issues by area on Car/Auto. I admit my ignorance, i am sorry that my frustration has surfaced in post. Please, again forgive my newbi ignorance.

Direct me to a how to site use or some such.

Thank you in advance for your time and Consideration.

Fyi a key 4 th 95 jag is called a tib key. When cut correctly it opens th trunk 'EVERY' Time, a cruddy cut tib key takes jiggling, flipping, wiggling pressingin slight pulling out whe turning, AND THERE IS NO keyless Trunk latch Release. Th trunk latch ONLY Opens with a key in th lock at th rear of th Car n only by turning th key completely counterclockwise AND Then depressing th trunk release latch just above th license plate. There is a setting of th key in in th center uprite key position that allows key removal AND keeps th Trunk unlocked UNTIL U Activate th door looks via manual "LOCK ALL LOCKS" Setting by holding interior door release arm while ALSO PUSHING Forward th interior door lock itself,,, !!! OR by activating th 'Lock all Locks' thru th insertion of th key into either extior door Lock n turning key CLOCKWIZE. U will hear th door Lock 'Growler' which locks both doors n th trunk n th gas door cap. Regardless wether u left th trunk lock in its leave lock unlocked setting.

Which by th way. No one at Reno NV Jaguar Dealer Knew any of this. Thier techs r lame or underpaid or both.

I Figured all this out on my own no help from 'jag where-ever' , n u kno who i mean. Dang does no one else even own a 1995 Jaguar XjS V12 Coupe that cares about anyone but themselves? Really guys. Either ur site doesnt direct queries correctly or there is just a bunch of non sharing jag owners. Take into account This seems to be th ONLY year make model that a Haynes Repair Manual is available for. So there it is again NO HELP. WOW. Perhaps a site dedicated to this one rare specimen of Katttt needs creation.

My Katz markin itz territories NOT COOL Regardless of th image's coolness. Its now july in

1995 Jaguar XjS V12 Coupe. Where is th 'continue/next' radio button please? How 2 kno my image uploaded? Start over, start over, upload again n again,,, ??? Please help
Sparks Nv . So yeah warm, yet my Jag's trying 2 up th Humidity.

Settle down. You're 2 postings in and are behaving like an ***.

Rather than rant like a child ask questions and people will help.

"internet support" doesn't necessarily mean having every answer at your fingertips like an encyclopedia. It also means people on the internet helping each other.

The people on this forum (and others) are among the most helpful you could ask for. Introduce yourself, explain the problem, ask questions.

Cheers
DD

Are you trying this search from a phone? I've not tried that but it works much better on a desktop to upload photos. I believe the default search option is limited to posts in the last two weeks, so if what you're looking for hasn't been discussed in that time frame, you'll get zero results.

Perhaps the best thing is sleep on it, when the frustration has subsided start again. Simply lay out the symptoms and then we analyise and hone in at the cause.

Pretend you're addressing a judge - keep it on point, factual and without embellishment and then we can narrow things down much quicker. At the moment I can't tell what is happening with your car, and I think you wan to buy hoses for a completely different model with a different engine to fix it?

And please fully spell all of your words, it makes your post frustrating to read and can cause misunderstandings. "n" and "th" can be just about anything even though your intention is most likely "and" and "the".

The clue is in the text - X-Type - 02 to 08 - so take an educated guess since the V12 hasn't been installed in anything new since 1997.

The only hoses behind the engine even on a 6.0 that I am aware of are the in car heater supply hoses and control valve. I don't think any XJS came with plastic 'clip on' pipework.

There are core plugs back there though so my advice is to get a mirror and see what you can get eyeball on - it may only be apparent when hot so it won't be fun. That is if the leak is at the back but that's the starting point since you mentioned it.

I also second the motion - lose the abbreviations and contractions th etc etc

Attitude and temperament go a long way, not only when interacting with the forum, but also when working on the V12 engine. If you approach a Jaguar with the same exasperation and crassness expressed in your post it will fight you every. step. of. the. way. guaranteed. So the best advice to start with is to calm down and start to take a methodical approach to your problem. This forum is full of passionate and knowledgeable users who want to help.

There's a lot of info on the 6.0L V12 here and if you have a question that is specific to the engine not found here, you can always use the XJ12 forum as an additional resource.

That said, it sounds like one of the heater hoses at the back of the engine. Photos always help.
