the gearbox is stuck cant sift the lever

 

I'm speaking from what I've read, not experience, but I think there is a torx looking fitting right by the gear shifter. I think you can take that out, and insert a screwdriver and release the lock solenoid manually. From what I understand, the lockout solenoid goes bad, and the gear shift can't move. Its one of those "fixes" that keeps the car from being put into gear, without brake pedal being depressed.

 

My gear shift handle sticks sometimes,i have to jiggle the ignition key to get the shift handle to move.It`s worth a try.HarryK
