I lost the owners manuals and all service records including original window stickers for both my 95 XJS and my 74 E type......I have been determined to get all the literature replaced exactly as I had it before since these where my grandfathers cars from new and all the literature was in pristine brand new condition..... The E type did not have too many items, so that was relatively easy, however gathering the multiple XJS books and pamphlets has not been the easiest thing. Thanks to a great friend that is a member here, I was able to get the bulk of the XJS stuff replaced, but I also had to source little booklets etc from a series of different sources to get it all together. Some things, I just can’t replace. Anyway, I thought I would make this post in case anyone is interested in getting every correct piece of literature as it came in their 1995 XJS from the dealer.

The packs came in these respectively
The top portfolio was for the drivers literature and found in the rear passenger seat pocket, and the bottom pouch for the vehicle care and found in the trunk.
However, the drivers literature portfolio has a having of falling apart a bit and the black vinyl kind of falls apart and stains the books, so I have stored all my replacements in the portfolios that would have been standard for some 89-93 XJS’s and XJ40’s which are green, have a great growler embossed in them and don’t fall apart at all
