I went out to start my car and when I turned the key forward the interior lights went out, dash went out, but No starter engaged. After sum basic checks (made sure it was in park) the engine started and ran fine for a week.
Then I went out to start it again and same thing nothing.

I tried every and any web site for days, scoured wiring diagrams, swapped almost every relay in the car, thought it was the security system, thought it was the crash switch, thought it was the transmission safety switch (but I jumped the starter and it would turn over but not start.

After many hours I removed the inner fender cover on RF of car and found the engine bay harness plug full of corrosion from water off the tire. One of the pins completely rotted off on white wire with red stripe.

We cut 4 wires drilled a hole through the side wall and spliced 4 new jumpers. (will get new plug from donor at later date) She started up!

I have used this site for a while as viewer only and it has saved my butt a few times.
