I have a 96 XJS, and the "silver" fuel pump relay is not in the rear right hand side wheel arch. Does anyone know where else it could be? I only see three of the "listed" relays, no silver one:

I have 3 relays in that location - 2 blue and 1 silver. I have assumed that the silver one is the fuel pump. The one way you can be sure is to check the wiring diagram and check the color of the wires going to the relay. Somebody may have put the wrong relay there if the connection pins are the same.
