86' XJS windows wont go down
There's a circuit breaker on the RH component panel below the glove box. It's about 1.0"x1.25" and has two brown/blue wires.
Test it with a light or meter, or simply jump the terminals to bypass it.
The breaker feeds the relay, which is located nearby, and has white/pink, black, and brown/blue wires. The white/pink is key-on voltage; black is ground; brown/blue is load voltage in and out.
It can be bypassed by jumping the brown/blue wires.

I should add that the switches often give trouble. Thy can be removed and gently opened up to clean the internal contacts...which almost always brings them back to life

I had a switch problem with my convertible top. It was working fine then all of a sudden not! I kept fiddling with the switch and boom, worked again! Been working since. Same thing with my starter. Engine was hot, no go, it cooled down, boom! started again, been starting since. The only question is... were your windows working and then not? But both at once? Hmmmm...Bud
Both windows quitting at the same time does suggest a problem upstream of the switches, yes.
But...the a/c quit at the same time as well? That's an interesting wrinkle as there's no tie-in between the circuits that I can see in the diagrams.
I'd treat this as two separate failures, at least initially.
