88 steering problem

88 steering problem

I have a 88 xjs v12. At 5 mph it steers ok, once it gets to 15 mph, the steering goes away. Super loose and dangerous. What do I look for.

First check the steering rack bushings. It's quite common that they deteriorate badly and result in very sloppy steering.
