Default '89 XJS H.E. Where is the oil press. sensor?

I have a 1989 XJS with the H.E. V12. I am having trouble finding the oil pressure sensor, the one for the gauge. Any thoughts on it's where abouts?

Thanks,
Peter

Almost directly aft of the throttle capstan. It's a bit buried but you'll spot it eventually! You may have to clear a path to actually remove it.

Cheers

Here is a pic, you can see the gauge and warning light senders are on the small casting at the rear of the V. Support the casting against the undoing torque, or you will snap it off, very likely! (when Doug said you will have to clear a path, he did not mean you have to remove the engine though!)
