hows it coming I havint been around for awhile been busy myself mine is sitting under a tarp rite now :/ short on cash

 

Well it's been a slow process but could not be happier with the results.
They were all exhaust valves that were stuck, when all said and done there
were 4 on the one side and 3 on the other.
Pulled the valve covers, pulled the camshaft, stuck valves easily seen
the tappets would not return to the top.
A good magnet and I was able to pull the tappets out. Then a lot of
P.B. Blaster, and oil around the valve stems. Then the nervous part of how
hard to hit the valve with a heavy hammer and punch. After the first one
released, and I got a feel of how it was going to act, repeat on the other 6
valves.
After reassembly, an oil change and fuel finally getting up and around she fired off.
Runs beautifully, cleaning a fuel tank and such now so as not to re-contaminate the system with rust.
