My Hood Release lever under the dash went limp. Im guessing the cable is broken or come lose. Looking for experience in relaceing or repairing. Looked under the dash and found no help there.

 

The cable either broke or is slipping in the locks. if it broke, replace it with a bycicle spoke. If it slipped through the locks, you must retighten the locking screws. in either case you must realign the spoke or cable to insure a proper alignment of the hood.
