Do you have any recommendations as to where to get a shop manual for a 1995 XJS 6 cyl/4.0?


Paper or CD, is there an advantage to one over the other?


Do these come with a parts manual or breakdown?

I still think that having the proper Jaguar Parts & Service manual is the only way to even consider running an XJS. Jaguar have recently revised their publications with a new mac-compatible DVD covering all the XJS variants. See here:

Jaguar Heritage. Jaguar XJ-S, XJR-S and XJS - 1975 to 1996 (61007)

Much more comprehensive, covenient and cheaper than buying the original paper volumes as well.

The prices are very reasonable. I'm very happy with the ones I bought.

Mark and Paul, thank you for the good advice. I downloaded the manuals from JagDocs, which will be great for searching. Now I will get the official paper version for more clear diagrams.
