power window relay

Default power window relay

anyone know the color of the relay for power window, I think I found it is it white so damn hard to find stuff on these cars even with chart I think they just put it where ever they felt like.

It may be dependent on the year, but your power windows might be routed through some kind of thermal lockout switch and a circuit breaker. These can be found (in LHD cars at least) to the right of the passenger's side circuit panel under the glove box. You'll have to take off the panel under the box to take in the madness in its entirety.

OK so I got it mine is white the thermal cut out is black tested all this tested the switch only to find out i have a ground problem and possibly two weak motor they will work by manually making a ground but not to good.this project really shows that jaguar has way to many relays and stuff laying around the system could have been so simple by the way it is an 88 xjs lhd.now to find the bad ground.

I feel your pain. The XJS could have been made without so many modules and relays to do things that we had been doing for so long without them. Unnecessary electronic and vacuum controls are one reason the XJS is so low priced on the used market.
