Default 92 XJS convertible ATF

With 53k miles on my 92 XJS, V12 I'm thinking of having the ATF flushed and a new filter and gasket installed. I believe Dexron 111 is the correct fluid. Any hints on sourcing the correct filter and gasket?

Stephen

Should we assume you have the v12?

First of all, I recommend going through the small effort of completing the auto signature feature on this forum. You'll never forget to clarify this info again.

Secondly, I didn't think that the v12 guys had any trouble sourcing common parts like transmission filters. What transmission are you using? TH400? Many websites, like RockAuto, specify which transmission they are for.

Hopefully someone else can chime in and let you know if there are any special o-rings or other parts that you will want to have on hand.

Ultimately, the transmission you have is likely not unique to Jaguar in any way, so part availability should be plentiful and affordable.
