The car started easily after winter layup. Idled for 20 minutes. When I got in the car stopped when I closed the door. Weird

 

I doubt you slammed the door so hard you tripped the fuel inertia switch, but it is worth checking. It's on the passenger side (USA) door jamb. I once tripped it hitting a pothole.

Next stop on an AJ16 engined car is the crankshaft position sensor. I assume you carry a spare like everyone else?
