Has anyone added an 1/8" input to a stock stereo on a facelift xjs? I'm fine with the sound of the stereo I just want to connect it to my phone. The tape devices are noisy and sound bad. Maybe I can use the cd input on the back since I do not have a cd device in the trunk?

Also what rear speaker upgrade options are there. Has anyone fitted 6X9 s back there?

I wouldn't bother trying to put a 6x9 in the rear. I put Alpine SPR-60 in the rear and I am very happy with them.

Something like this device TranzIt USB will work. It puts your music into the antenna port on the head unit. I used a similar unit in this thread https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...js-done-94642/
