Default Air Conditioning "Puff"

Hello All,

I've been away for a while and hadn't realized how much I missed going through this forum and reading about your cars and projects.

So, here's the issue. I've got a '94 (build year "93) V-12. Upon starting up, actually as soon as the key hits the II position, the A/C kicks on, the volt meter shows a momentary discharge and the A/C fan very briefly runs (hence the term "puff" in the title). All this occurs with the system turned OFF. The A/C system operates normally when I do turn it on.

I have done no work under the hood this season. Last year, I did recharge the A/C, but this "puffing" just started recently.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Bill
