Default Air filter box removal

Hi,

I removed my left air filter box this evening! I'm planning on making an elbow with K&N filters. When I removed the box, I saw that 3 tubes are attached to this filter box. 1 to the front of the left cilinders, 1 to the back of the left cylinders and 1 to a tube on top, that connects the two manifolds.

What should I do with those tubes when I make an elbow connection with K&N filters? I saw some guys have done it, but they don't mention what should be done with these lose tubes?

Any tips on fabricating this piece, is there an easy solution because I'm not a terrific aluminium welder... Can it be done completely with PVC?

Best regards,

Frederik

There is a company called Faster Jags V12 Performance -The Jaguar XJS specialists and one stop source for Jaguar XJS V12 performance and cooling upgrades, parts and accessories including cooling, intakes, brake, exhaust, LED lighting and suspension upgrades that sells "growler" intakes, which are tubes welded to plates that bolt to your throttle bodies, have k&n filters on them, and come with the necessary items to install. There are two little k&n filters that come in the kit for the idle overrun valves at the front of your intake plenums.
You can pick these up at parts stores. I don't remember if they're 1/2" or 3/4".
There's also a fresh air supply line that is supposed to be hooked into your crankcase breather system (at the front of the LH bank, where the Pcv valve is).
The growler intake kit is expensive, and I always advocate doing things on your own, but I liked the plug-and-play setup. Mine are polished aluminum, and sure are pretty.
