Aircon blower motor
Hi,
My drivers side (RHS) air con blower has stopped working except when you switch it to high. The blower occasionally comes to life for a few seconds but then dies again.
The LHS blower still works correctly.
From doing a bit of research it seems the Darlington transistor is the likely problem. So it seems I will have to pull the whole blower motor assembly on the drivers side. I've already got the instrument panel out and the underside trim.
Any other suggestions on what my problem could be before I take this job on? Thanks

That's the most likely problem. However, it wouldn't hurt to go over all the electrical connections and get some dielectric grease on them and see if that fixes the problem. Coventry West (and I think a few others now) sell rebuilt ones with a core charge if you want to go that route.
