Am I missing something....
Paid a little attention to my cat today, mended the coolant fluid leak (a rubber hose on top of the water pump) and magically fixed the charging problem, simply by replacing the battery with a new with the correct spec.
But when done with this, i discovered a "thing" with some harness not conected to anything else (se first photo). This blue "thing" has an adjustable knob, a strut for what i guess is to connect a vacuum tube to it, and some el. wires ending in two sockets (second photo) not connected to anything. does anyone knows what this is?
there is also 2 sockets on top of the engine that is not connected to anything. (Se photo 3 / 4). What am I missing?

#1 I think this might be part of the cruise control vacuum system. In fact, it was probably installed as part of a recall. Some sort of dump valve?
#2 Possible cruise control wires? is your cruise control still in place?
#3, #4 That type of connector is used on injectors and sensors. At some point the two "cold start" injectors were eliminated in production but the (unused) connectors may well have been left in place in the wiring looms. Just a thought.
Cheers
