American to Euro front bumper Conversion?

American to Euro front bumper Conversion?
I have seen people swap out their big American front bumpers to the tighter fitting and significantly lighter euro bumpers. My question is will they just bolt up assuming you have all the pieces or do you have to weld a different bracket. Anyone have any photos so I can see how the euro bumpers are mounted. At this point based on my research it appears if I remove the front rubber bumper and the two pistons on my car I can then replace with what looks like a long threaded rod and a curved bracket to the euro rubber bumper. I can then reuse my chrome from my car and the side rubber pieces. Anyone have any experience and can chime in. I am looking at swapping these on my 90 xjs. I assume the rear bumper will be similar to the front but I am on the fence about the rears due to the rear fog lights. Just to note: I have also seen where people will shrink the front bumper back by threading the pistons more, however you end up with gaps on each side.
Thanks!

It does have a small gap both sides. Looks like shortening or taking the piston out should work
