Default any chrome windshield pillars out there?

Hi, I've got a 1982 xjs, left hand drive, and I'm looking for the passenger(right side of the windshield) chrome pillar cover. Damn chamois caught the top corner bent it out of shape and will no longer lay flat.

These are stainless and there are loads about, any of the breakers in the Uk will send you one if you cannot find one over there. BUT, if you remove it, it will be quite easy to put it right and refit.

Take it off, put it right and polish it, as Greg say's, not chrome, polished stainless. Unless it "kinked" you should be able to put it right.

I think I located one. I will attempt a removal and fix, but not til I have a replacement in hand. I'll know if I still need one by mid-week.

My passenger side (LH drive) pillar is pulled away also, I notice my driver side has a small screw holding it down, I will do likewise on passenger side to hopefully prevent it from further damage.
