I was going to ask the admin to delete this thread, but decided it would be a good one to have easily searchable and just focused on the R & R or the CPS. RickE helpfully posted the pages below on my other thread, which helped a great deal. I have some additional tips that make things easier:

1. The sensor comes with the cable in a tight circle to fit in the small box. When the part first arrives, take it out of the box and unwrap it to give the cable a chance to "relax" or if it's a warm enough day let it sit in the sun for a bit to help straighten it out. When I first tried to feed the cable, the corkscrew nature of the cable made it more difficult and was easily caught up.

2. When you do the draw string, you'll want to tie it around the bottom of the plug so it won't come off, but you'll also need to "center" the string at the end of the plug. I used electrical tape, but if you're a knot wizard you might know how to do it. If the string isn't centered at the plug end, it will easily foul in some of the tight spots and you'll risk damaging the cable if pull too hard on the string.

3. You can do this solo as I did, but it would be a LOT easier if you had an extra pair of hands. One feeding the cable up, moving hoses, making sure it doesn't get caught in the P clips, etc., and another pulling the string would save a bit of time.

I found my cables for both the rear and front sensors were held in with clips; 2 P clips on the front from memory, one of them right behind the large coolant input hose so near impossible to get to, and because the sensor heads were larger than the p clips, and the old sensors had corrugated plastic protection, the 'draw string method' was literally impossible to do - I just removed both and carefully routed the new ones.

Since both the sensor head and the harness plug are larger than the P clips, the wire and it's plastic sheathing have to be removed from the P clips whether using the string method or manually routing.
