Hi all, I need to get my bonet resprayed and wondered if anyone else has been down this route and can give an idea of cost. I am uk based. Many thanks.

There are some guys who used to advertise on Ebay, based in Sheff, whose prices seem reasonable. The best thing is to ask a local garage who does their respraying. With luck about 100 quid should do it.

Default Bonnet Respray

Hi Brinny

I can't comment on price but Ryan at Little London Bodyworks (Sheffield) is excellent and I have always thought fairly priced. If you want super cheap go else where but if you want a quality finish without spending the earth, I highly recommend him.

He repaired my front scuttle (dreaded facelift issue) and resprayed top half of the car. That was two years ago and it still looks great despite the hard life the car has living outside all year round.

He also did a good job of matching the colour which is always a challenge when your not painting the whole car.

His websites Little London Bodyworks ? Sheffield based vehicle repair, respray, bodykit and bodywork garage

Hopefully this is not too far away from you. If nothing else, worth giving him a call.

Good luck
Rob

I was quoted 250 quid for mine to be spayed when I had micro blistering appear either side of the hump in small patches, but spent 5 in the end and covered them up with vinyl stripes. plus the boot lid was done, or it can be wrapped, which I am thinking about for the future,

Thank you both for your replies. I am near to Sheffield so may be in contact with them. I have been recommended someone a little nearer and will try there first. Next thing is will I manage to get a quote before they start chucking salt on the road. Winter is coming fast ! Once again thanks lads
