Default Is this Brake Fluid all the Same?

Hi Guys

Is this Brake Fluid all the Same?

They are Both DOT4 but the Round Tin says 'Synthetic' while the other one does not, from what I can see. (Although it might be?)

I may not have enough in the square can and unless there is a difference may have to mix them.

The Round Tin is about half full and the square one about 1/4 full.

Going on past experience I will probably need to use all of it to thoroughly bleed the Brakes.

Is this Brake Fluid all the Same?

They are both DOT4 but the Tin on the right says Synthetic, though the other one might be as well.

All brake fluid is synthetic.

I wouldn't use any brake fluid from a previously opened container that's been sitting around.

I agree. Don't use it if it's old. Brake fluid is hyroscopic. That's why it's important to change and flush the fluid regularly.
I buy smaller bottles so I don't have old crap laying around.

Always use new brake fluid from a sealed container. The only brake fluid I use that doesn't come from a sealed container is when I am using it as paint stripper.

Hi Guys

Thanks for you help Mikey@Jagboi@BC XJS.

I've just found a Full unopened Tin of DOT4 like the round one, which should be enough.
