Hello everyone, I've spent the last 4-hours trying to search the answer and the net etc. Different answers every time. My head is done in now. Can some please help? I've taken out the old bulbs but their markings are faced so can't identify they're type.

For a 1989 XJS, does anyone know the type of bulb to fit the cigar lighter, plus the two bulbs that illuminate the 4 push-switches in the central lower dash i.e. hazards' switch, heated window switch and other two switches that switch on and off the interior lights? I want to replace them with LEDS. It would make my day if someone were able to tell me the exact type of bulb (I've search on the net and can't find one that matches the precise size of the old one).

 

Cigar lighter identifies as C15788 Bayonet - which is a screw in type 2.2 W - pretty sure that an 'E10' profile is the same thing from any supplier you might want to compare profiles to this E10 2.2W






Various instruments are 'C43898' 2.2 capless - profile is W2.1

 

I changed all my interior bulbs, trunk, backup and license plate to leds but its been a while. I had my lighter in the garage because I put in a usb port charger not long ago. mine is a 1989 also. The lighter has a ba9s 1led bulb, 2 prong push and twist and I think the switches take ba7s 1led which just push in. Post a picture of your bulbs.
