HI 85 xjs comp wont cycle the ranco stat inside cycles but green wire stays powered on , disconnected servo it cycles tryed two nos servos comp still no cycle ??????

So are you saying that everything inside is working but the a/c comp doesn't come online?

Have you checked the wiring and fuses for the compressor?

when i first got to looking at my a/c all the wires were worn or disconnected at the compressor.

 

Any sign of wiring changes?

Do you have a schematic?

the a/c works have done more testing the comp cycles from 72deg up to 85 but 72 down to 65 it runs constant there is a micro switch or the servo that is causing it to run constant

the micro switch on the servo is not letting the ranco stat cycle the comp when in max a/c this is not normal may just buy pass switch if poss steve

 

Later tonight I'll look at the diagrams and try to help. But is the evap core icing up?
To the best of my knowledge the Ranco won't do anything unless the evap core ices.
