HI all... I am hoping for some guidance, I am not sure what to do at this point.
Cage is together - what should I leave to tighten until the wheels are on the ground?
Fulcrum nuts x 4 - need to tighten now but am unsure how tight?
Shock bolts - need to tighten now but am unsure how tight?
Hub bolts - I loosened these but did not pull them apart thanks to advice from Grant and Greg... these need to be tightened once the wheels are on the ground, correct?
Diff Oil - I have oil ready to go, plan is to fill it through the speed sensor hole, 2.25 US quarts = 2.1l - is it ok to just add 2.1l through the speed sensor hole without taking the fill plug out?
Grease everything, do this now or when on the ground or both?
No problem filling through the speedo hole, the usual level indicator is to fill to the bottom of the fill plug hole. You can feel that with your finger, as long as it's close you're good.
I'd grease now while you have easy access to everything.
The Jaguar figure for top and bottom shock nuts torque is 41-51 Nm.
As regards, the diff fill, you could indeed fill through the speedo sensor, but why would you not undo the fill plug? You need to know that you can undo that plug for the next drain and fill anyway. And it's so much easier to do it now whilst it is out of the car than to be struggling when the cage is in the car. So, get it undone now, fill it properly and you'll be happy that you know you've done it up correctly and can undo it next time.
The Bolt with Half the Head cut off that goes through the Small Bush of the Trailing Arm, needs to be done up after it has got the Full weight of the Car on the Rear Suspension

This bolt (and the other end of the trailing arm) are the only things I'm aware of that need to be tightened with the car on the ground, or the suspension otherwise fully loaded.
