Default Can rear shocks be rebushed?

My 93 XJS has some movement on the rear upper shock bushings on one side. If the shocks are still decent can just the bushings be replaced? It is a round eyelet type bushing,I always thought that type of bushing was a permanent part of the shock itself, it would be nice to replace it with perhaps poly? I need to reseal the differential this winter and it would be nice to take care of everything back there.

Item number 4; most specialists can supply them and if you are going to mess about with the diff then I would strongly suggest that you replace all the bushes: shocks, radius arms, anti-roll bar and cage mounts, it will transform the way that car handles.
