Has anyone with a XJR-S done a CATS delete? If so do you have a short video of the sound difference? Any issues with Zytec system post change?

Also, does anyone know if there are any off the shelf pipes sold in the UK to do the delete?

I assume the headers are the same. So yeah, you can get catfree downpipes. You'll still want your O2 sensors though...

 

I would like to have done this on my 93 6.0 XJS but Roger Bywater of AJ6 engineering told me that the car would be unlikely to pass the emissions test at MOT time.

If & when my CATS become u/s I will get some pre CAT down pipes & have some low loss catalytic converters & O2 sensor bosses welded into some new front pipes. I already have the intermediate silencer substitute pipes installed which does make the car louder but not unpleasantly so.
