my jealousy is nearly uncontrollable, although id prefer the 3.8 intercooled turbo with metanol injection and performance cams, they put out a bit more horsepower than that ls.
my dad has one, an 84 with a one year option of a leather intertior, and my neighbor has got one that spits out almost 600hp.

keep an eye on that. half a dozen GN's got stolen a few months ago. amazing car though. 3800 is my favorite engine of all time, be it carbureted, EFI, turbo, blown, or NA.
too bad someone lumped it for an LS2. i bet its fast though.

 

it is a great car, i owned an 86GN , 3.8l turbo intercooled factory stock,performance was about equal with this 6L ,but was not as smooth running, and not much for bullet proof realiability, that LS has.
turbo engine needed the best fuel you could buy, the LS uses regular unleaded, and the 4L80E is just as tough as the engine,like said rollin kickdowns are better than ,, the old 200R4 went bad twice,+ money.

and the much upgrade suspension is unbelievable, for a GM G-body car, brakes matches the suspension perfectly.

anyway thats why i bought it, it is a well thought out car, and makes agreat DD.

altho i dont think highly of the super boom boxes in the trunk, 12" KICKERS, gimme a break, as i'm cruisin down the road, different strokes for different folks.
