Default cold idle slow and surges

Getting closer to success or my wits end, not sure which. Okay,
1. when she runs, she runs well -- compression good.
2. New plugs, wires, ignition module, etc -- spark good.
3. 42 lbs fuel pressure static, and when running --- fuel good.

Leaves air. Had the AAV rebuilt, seems to function properly in pan of water. So what may I be missing. I have set throttles based on "the book" best I can tell. Idle surges cold, or runs extremely slow. How is the cold idle adjusted? Stuck a towel in the air horn on AAV side, made absolutely no difference??? That was odd, so pointers will be good.
Thanks

OK, 2 posts same car and problem.

Maybe a Moderator can meld them please, so we can sort this car quicker.

The cold idle speed is purely the AAV controlled, and how it was set after that rebuild. The fact it is slow has me thinking it is jammed SHUT. This could lead to an overfuel situation very quickly. Cold idle should be ABOUT 1000rpm, give or take a tad.

The surging MAY be the TPS set too high in the split voltage at idle. It should be between 0.32 - 0.36V.

The 2 cross rods may be set too tight and holding the throttle body discs slightly open, so a simple reset, even just to CHECK will do NO harm.

Send me a PM with your email address and I will send you my Word docos on those subjects, as they are too large to attach here.
