Hi all,

I have a 90 XJS Convertible. When I found it on Craigslist, I called the seller and he told me that back seat was a fold own unit. I thought that was odd. When I picked the car up, i realized that a previous owner "customized" the storage area and turned it into a jump seat.

Today I had to open all that up to put some fluid into the convertible pump (which btw works great now) and found the funniest thing. Pic attached. It seems they recycled someone's business sign to create the back seat.

Any ideas on how to put it back to original???

It's funny, many of us that have the 2+2 would much prefer having the locker than the useless back seats. Seems this chap wanted the best of both worlds

You convertible drivers are not the only ones who want a more useful area behind the front seats. I plan to convert the rear seat of my '84 coupe to accept the storage box from my '89 convertible donor car.
