Default Coolant Filter results

Several weeks ago I had run a heavy-duty metal/rubber safe rust remover through my car and turned the coolant to a fine black silt which I shop-vac'ed out of the radiator, given the volume of neutralized rust and grey flake I pulled out I was confident I'd finally solved my overheating issues and did a complete flush of the system, put everything back together etc.

Installed new bypass coolant filter and fresh coolant. The following link is the result after about 1000km worth of driving.

Two things to note - there is still some sort of fine grey silt all over everything it has the consistency of something you'd find near a beach...and that filter used to be white.

Just thought I'd share since I'm an enthusiastic supporter of aftermarket filtration systems
