Default Could I leave the Engine Running while I Bleed the Brakes on my 4.0L AJ16

Hi Guys

Having unsuccessfully tried to Bleed the Brakes on my 1995 XJS 4.0L with AJ16 Engine

I'm thinking that the problem could be Air Trapped inside the ABS which was completely drained when Fitting New Calipers

From what I've been reading and looking at on YouTube, it seems that Shops use a Special OBD Device to excite the Motor in the ABS while the ABS System is being Bled

Everything is OK until you Start the Engine, at which point the Pedal goes to the Floor (Lots of Guys on YouTube having the very same problem)

So thinking a little bit out of the Box, I was wondering if I should try Bleeding the Brakes with the Engine Running

Or do you think this sounds like a Bad Idea?
