Default Cruise Control connection

Last topic for tonight, I have a mystery hose with a screw in it that is part of the cruise control. I've dug into my manual but haven't found the diagram for this yet. Any folks know off the top of your heads where this should connect to? It's a 3 way item, one is the electrical connection to the cruise control, one is a hose connecting to the manifold and then this one?

Something doesn't look right

Difficult to tell from your image but it could be the vacuum feed to the cruise solenoids? The fitting is under the cruise mounting bracket, remove 3 bolts and lift..you'll see it. the screw is someone's idea of a plug...doesn't belong.

Got it, I've got to take the fuel rail off so I'll look for that then.

Just a suggestion but you might want to replace your fan. From the picture I can see it is the original British plastic faded yellowish color edition. Many people might advise to preclude a major problem if the plastic failed at speed to go ahead and replace it with a new edition from an American supplier. And yes, it is a pain to replace but better than dealing with the effects of fan blades going thru your radiator or hood at several hundred miles an hour.

You can do the clutch and fan in one go bolted together just be sure to put cardboard on the radiator...it will "fit"
