Cruise control solenoid question
Hello everyone. I’m finally getting around to sorting out the cruise control on my 1991 XJ-S (Marelli).
The cruise control components were in a box until I recently began to install them. I have repaired the bellows with silicone sealant and now have what appears to be a good seal, fingers crossed.
The question I have is: where does the blue solenoid
EAC 7905 bolt onto the engine? I don’t think it is in the same place as pre-Marelli cars. It is probably near the A bank, but it is not obvious.
Thanks for any replies.

That's on a 1989.
On my '86 EAC 7905 is the 3-way control valve that is used to connect vacuum to the cruise control bellow with cruise control on and connect bellows to atmospher (dump) when off. It is fitted on the (M8 ?) studd that holds the air-cleaner on the right hand cylinder bank.
