Default Diode pack and thermal switch wire connection

Friends.
I'm renovating the wiring in the front of the engine. And because I'm old and sclerotic, I forgot to take a photo of the connection of the cables to the thermal switch on the engine (see the photo of the switch when I was repairing the engine).

And I have a question.
There are 2 cables for each pin to the thermal switch. One pair goes to the switch on the dryer (electric additional fan), the other goes to the diode pack.
The connection of the fan wires to the pins is uninteresting, the switch is through, so the (pin) side does not matter.
But what about the wires to the diode pack?
There are two from the diode pack to the thermal switch, one GN (Green/brown) and the other LG (Light/green). Is (see the picture) A or B correct? Or A=B, so the connection of these wires to the thermal switch does not matter?

Thank you very much for your answer.

It does not matter which side of the switch the wires go. As long as you have identified the correct two wires to the switch, any side of the switch for the wires will do.

Hi Greg.
Thanks for the reply.
If I understand correctly (we can leave the thermo switch out of the question, it's just an ON/OFF switch), then it doesn't matter which wire going to the switch on the dryer I connect the GN wire or the LG wire to.
Basically I can swap them and everything will work fine.
Or am I misunderstanding?

And yes I forgot to write XJS MY1988, 5.3.

Exatcly so. You understand correctly. The switch is just making the circuit.
