I just bought a 93 XJS, man I love this car! The biggest problem is I can't find a right rear motor for it. Anybody have one or can they be rebuilt?

 

Good luck - I'm looking for the exact same thing for a 1990 xjs convertible. I think you may be able to go with a later model because you're post facelift, but I'm not sure - if you can, that will make the search easier. If not, I'm told they can indeed be rebuilt - I have a previous thread on that. I don't have a garage and the necessity of the glass being down or removed during the rebuilding makes me have to search for one. FWIW, you can just pull the relays and leave the rear quarter windows up all the time if that helps - it's what I do for now, and if I leave all the windows up, it just looks like I don't want my hair to get too windblown and not like it's broken :-).
