Default Door Locks

Just when I figure I have this 91 5.3 conv "just about figured out" something dumb happens. My door lock's cycle on & off and sometimes lock the car . I've been keeping the windows down & my door key close at hand. Does anyone have a fix idea. I figured I'd ask before I start ripping into things in order to locate the relay and or fuse Thanks

On my 96 when weird stuff starts happening like that, it usually signals that the battery is on its way out.

Thanks for the reply. I was reading Kirby's thread on Jag lovers & he said the same thing you mentioned about the battery going bad. Remedy; new battery. My Interstate is from Sept 2011. Its probably time......

I’d bet a new battery cures the lock issue. I can’t tell you how much time I wasted trying to adjust the lock assemblies where a fresh battery would coincidentally erase all issues.
