Default Early radio identification

Hi

I have a newer radio mounted in my 1977 XJ-S.

I would love to get a correct radio like this one. Any inputs on brand and model ?

Becker Mexico rings a bell for early models.

When googling the Becker Mexico I get a lot of Mercedes hits.
It's for sure not a Becker Mexico on the picture in first post, but I do on the other hand not know if that picture shows an original radio...

Some googling later:

The number on the front of the Philips radios must be the 868 in the 22AC868.

John: can you confirm this ?

I found a goldmine of info on old auto radios here: Autoradio PHILIPS 1977

Only thing is that none of the Philips radios from 1977 looks exactly like the one in my original post, but at least I'm on the track now

Just went out to the workshop to double check and 868 is correct Leo . I hope you find one , I updated mine years ago but I tend to keep original stuff .

I had a radio like that in my 1977 donor car. It looks like this. I should also have the buttons somewhere. This is a Sharp unit.

In my 1979 xjs I have a Blaupunkt.... anyone know if this is original?

Right now I dont know what to do about these radios. They are closing Down the FM network in Norway this summer and have to convert to DAB+.
So I'm sitting on the fence wondering what to do...
