Can the USA oval style headlights be swapped out for a european oval headlight? My car is a u.s.a. 94 xjs & im having trouble finding a reasonably priced headlight lens in the usa & I found one on ebay.uk that i might purchase. Can the headlights be swapped out entirely, just unplug & plug in? Can just the lenses be swapped out? Thanks in advance for help.

 

Short answer......yes
Longer answer........no. The UK lights being on a right hand drive car dip, (that is on dip beam, or low beam to you Yanks), the light dips down to the left. LHD cars dip to the right and l think US cars dip down. But that doesn't stop you fitting it though...........try finding a LHD one any ebay.de or .ch-nl- etc. for an European site.

Also reading the headlight posts on here a few come up in the US from people changing over to quad lights.
