exhaust manifolds and downpipes

I am in the process of doing a very similar thing. Did you use jet hot on them? I am planning on using swain coating on the manifolds and jet hot on the heat shield and downpipes. I got euro downpipes w/o cats and plan to use the two second cats or buy some low restriction cats.
Looks good. Always a good thing to reduce as much heat as possible from the engine bay.

Yes, I had Jet Hot do it. Not cheap, but I do plan for keeping this car for the long run.
I yanked the stuff out of the cats, which was no easy job! It was interesting that the front downpipe on both sides had the cat element slid down the downpipe nearly the exact distance on each side. The photo doesn't show it well, but both of the front elements had partially folded over, blocking maybe 20% or so of the area of the downpipe.
Thanks,
John
