Default Facelift cassette deck - Jammed

I put a iPhone/Pod adaptor cassette in the factory cassette player in my 94 coupe at the weekend and its stuck in there now.
Anyone any tips on how to get a tape out?
The tape deck was starting to play up by continuously loop fwd to rev play.
Tried gently levering about, no luck.
Worst case, how do you remove the whole car stereo?
Thanks

if you still want to use it, google the issue on it playing. There is a part you can remove from the inside of most of those adapters to make them work better.

As far as getting it out, I am not aware of any tricks. Maybe someone here does. If it were me, personally, I would just take the deck out and disassemble it until you could get the cassette out. I've had to do it before with CD/DVD drives

Dental picks work. Or just buy a nice, understated Nakamachi, Blaupunkt, or Alpine to replace it.

If your time is worth anything, this is undoubtedly the best way to go. Keep the original in a ziplock bag with a pack of dessicant if you're concerned about resale value and OEM gear (we have a LONG way to go before having to worry about that).
